The speculation is better power circuitry than reference (more phases). Since otherwise why bother with a custom PCB.

For a chip that doesn't OC? I'd go for a better cooler that maintains boost better. Although custom may be more efficient. I will be in the market for either a 970 itx or Nano... so I'm interested.
