Hey [H] brothers,

I am new to overclocking.
I have a A8N-SLI premium.

I am running a 2.4 AMD FX-53 and used the AI Booster to push it to 2.6 with only a minor heat increase of 1 degrees Celcius. It has been completely stable at this speed.

My question is are there any problems with leaving my cpu running at 2.6 or with leaving a cpu overclocked in general?

My Temps:
Idle: 41 Celcius
Load: 59 Celcius

Cooling:
Zalman ALCU cpu fan, panaflow 105cfm rear case fan, stock front fan, 80mm side fan, Thermaltake Tsunami case.

Thanks in advance

Based on your change in temp, I would assume that your overclock would be fine to run all the time.

There's no problem leaving a system overclocked permanently, unless it is unstable. Then you decrese the overclock until the entire thing is perfectly stable. Just an example, I've got an operton 146 that's stock at 2.0ghz, and I run it at 2.85ghz 24/7. My theory: if it's stable under max load for half an hour, it's safe to run at that speed indefinately.
