Asus A8N-SLI Premium Problem

I built a workstation for a co-worker using this board.

The other day it just died. He was using the machine when it just turned off. My first thought was the OCZ PowerStream 520. I cleared the cmos and put in just one stick of RAM. Unplugged the power supply and left it off for 2 minutes.

Plugged the power supply back in and nothing. The fans spin about 1 rotation and nothing happens. The green light on the Asus board is on, but nothing else happens.

I tried the OCZ PowerStream on another machine and it works fine. Is the board dead?

Specs are:

Asus A8N-SLI Premium
Athlon X2 3800+
120GB Segate HDD
OCZ PowerStream 520
GeForce 6600
SoundBlaster Audigy

My next step is to order a new board--unless anyone has some suggestions.

I started this thread [ASUS A8N-SLI Premium RMA] when I had trouble wih my board. You might find some ideals in it. I had to RMA my board twice. I have not had any trouble with it since. To find the thread goto the AMD MoBo's section and write buntz in the Search this Thread.
