ASUS A8N-SLI Bios update question.

On the download page for the newest bios for the A8N-SLI (bios 1013), it states that you have to update the nforce chipset drivers to 6.65 or higher before flashing the bios or risk file corruption of some sort.

However, this will be an entirely fresh install of Windows (being as the motherboard and the rest of the pc parts won't even ship until Monday) using a slipstream disc with SP2, so I'm wondering if it's ok to flash to the latest bios right out of the box before even installing Windows.

Uh, yes, I know what the latest nf4 chipset driver is, as I've already downloaded it. I'm asking if I can update to the absolute latest bios for the motherboard before even installing Windows, let alone the latest chipset driver.
 
Yep you can also just install windows your drivers and everything and use the asus bios updater through windows as well if you want to.
