I made a mistake buying a power supply with a 20-pin connector. I know the DFI's don't like the 20 to 24 pin converter, but would there be any problems using it with my Asus A8n-e motherboard? I hope I don't have to get a new psu :(

What power supply, what other system components? The 20pin will key in physically without the adapter.

No worries - I used an old 20-pin Allied PSU with my ASUS A8N-SLI for a few days before I upgraded to a 24-pin OCZ 520W PSU.

Worked fine, no crashes or anything. As stated above, a 20-pin cable will still fit in the 24-pin connector.
