ASUS A7N8X-X Incorrect CPU Temps

my ASUS A7N8X-X BIOS has always been coming up with incorrect CPU temps, as in 30-40 degrees celcius difference.

Is there a way to disable or avoid the asus automatic shutdown which just randomly turns off the computer, or fix it to the correct temperature? Ive tried reflashing the bios and it hasnt worked any of the times ive tried. Im currently using the latest version from ASUS
