Looks pretty sweet. I doubt there would be alot of difference between the nforce 4 and the rs480 chipset though.
I dont see any dual core support... do you?
 
I would probably jump on this had I not JUST bought the Jetway 210GDMSPro though :p

Probably garbage tweaking, but it also might mean it has some solid bios options!

Damn what an ugly PCB, though! :p At the least it will have Clockgen support, since it is nForce4. Hmm... not being the Ultra chipset, I would guess it only does 275 or so.

This also may mean DFI's release is actually on the horizon...

Does not look like a good choice for OEM builders though, being more expensive and no onboard vid, not that I care at all.

One site said this was originally released in Russia. See if Asustek Russia has a manual...
 
Indeed, I do hope this means that enthusiast boards from DFI are on the way.... mmmmmm goood!

Yeah, the link you have is confusing the specs on this board with the full-sized A8NE.

I've had this board myself - there are NO overclocking options AT ALL. You don't even have memory tweaking options - you can set the CAS latency, that's *it*. No FSB clocks, no voltage tweaks, NOTHING.

It also does not have dual-core support.

It's not supported by Asus, either - it's OEM, manufactured for Fujitsu-Siemens, and Fujitsu-Siemens has to provide all the BIOS updates and such. (Last I checked, they were something like 4 months and 1 version behind whatever the latest Asus was for the full-sized version of the board).

And if those issues were all not enough - the board is ALSO incredibly unstable.

You gotta be careful with Asus nowadays - almost everything they put out anymore is crap.

Me too. I have had a bad experience with ECS and their RS480 with ATI Chipset. I saw nforce4 and was like, yay! But apparently not :(
