Im currently runnin unigine heaven(i920 4ghz)at highest settings and im getting low scores
Score 591 min fps 13.0... Max 54.7 2560x1440
Fresh reformat all latest drivers

I have entered nvidea control panel switched to

Vsync off
Have power management set to high
One monitor performance
Max pre rendered frame to 1
Texture filtering high quality

anti aliasing transparency is set to off(default)

I can visually see heaven not running smoothly

I was multitasking a bd-rebuilder project that typically uses 100% cpu and still managed to score a 1629...and keep in mind amd are generally regarded as inferior drivers lol....so i can only confirm that somethings not right on your end.

Did you by chance use a driver cleaner like DDU before updating to your current driver? If not its worth a shot. https://forums.geforce.com/default/...r-uninstaller-ddu-v12-7-1-released-04-26-14-/

this was my result even thou my pc was hard at work re sizing a blueray

its just my opinion but people that list there pc specs in there sig have better chances of people helping them...otherwise we have no idea what motherboard, power supply, operating system, ect...what chipset drivers are you using?
Have you checked to see if there is a newer bios for that card? maybe that would fix the problems

What's your basis of comparison and how are your actual games running? Most heaven comparisons are done at 1080p, not 2560p. If you're comparing your scores to others, 1080p would be the resolution to test. More important, the best judge of performance is how actual games run.

very good point...i never even noticed he was running 2560p...i wonder if that card could be vram limited....as unlikely as it may be

I think my new score is within spec

Only problem now is I problably have to return it to amazon even though i just received it today. Right in the box i could see the back plate had a major concave(bowing)unmounted brand new in the box..

I can only assume its a defect at it was very visible and still is now that it is hanging in my case

The bowing is there even unmounted..

my next score was 767 still doing my rebuilder task at 100%usage

I think it looks fine to me...i tried to see the bowing but couldn't find it...could you put a circle around it or possibly an arrow for us vision impared;)

Look at the evga northbridge the black thing right above the gpu thats says classified and follow its line..looking at the gap at the left side comparing to the right...

ITS FINE.....sure it might look better with another evga matching type cooler..is all i see...apparently it doesn't have a back plate.....most of them don't these days....sounds more like buyers remorse to me,,,,if you don't like it return it

Its not fine, no idea what your talking about, amazon is replacing it with another due to extreme bowing, I'll take another pic outside the case before i return it

lol i guess i just have horrible vision so i couldn't see it....here's a thought for you...it looks like you plan to keep both installed...would it not be better to use another blower style cooler...just so it looks better?I have mix and maxed together as well....And always thought it didn't look right...but i will admit the blower style cooler can get very loud compared to the asus ones. i love asus as well...but man another evga classified blower style next to your older one would look sharp
Anyways good luck with your card replacement;)i ran the test again and your asus still beats mine... xfx cards are not really known for there performance lol. My last score with nothing else going on
