So if I already have these for my xbox and ps3, and I wanted to use them for my PC (for gaming in surround sound) will they benefit a sound card?

Or better yet, who sound card and headset would you recommend? And would it be worth the extra cost over the A40s? I really want to have amazing sound quality to go with my amazing visuals. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure that the mix amp thingy will connect directly to your PC - ideally through the optical connection (if you have one).
 
Yes it comes with a usb adapter that you hook up to the mixamp and your pc

sounds great.. i find myself using them more than my bose speakers
 
Awesome thanks! I think I'm going to go with the Sennheiser PC360s for PC gameplay so my GF can use the A40s for the xbox and ps3 when we are both playing.
