I have the following problem :

I just assembled my new pc (all new components) :

Motherboard : Intel® Desktop Board D975XBX2
CPU : Core 2 duo E6600
Graphic card : Gigabyte GeForce 7950 GT (GV-NX795T512H-RH)
Ram 2 x 1 Gig ram

When all was installed I booted and everything seems to work ok but... no image on my screen… All fans are turning (including the geforce fan), the DVD drive takes the windows cd, the HD seems to turn too, but no image.

Anyone have any idea? Im thinking in 2 directions atm :

1) my power supply is not powerfull enough (I have a 380 watt Antec)
2) The Geforce is broke (or atleast the connectors or something)

This is not the first PC I assemble so im not a complete noob but still im not a pro either. SO if you have any advise or idea, I will be glad to try it out.

Cheers

The GFX card should display at least a message telling you that the PCI-E power connector isn't connected AFAIK, but you might wanna double-check on that.

380W is pretty borderline for that I think, but you should still be able to boot and poke around in the BIOS & stuff. Might suffer random shutdowns whilst gaming though.
