Ok, so first of all I want to thank everyone for the help in choosing the parts, now I need to assemble it as I finally found some time. (I've had all the parts for a week now, imagine the frustration not having the time to put them together.)

To make this easier for me I'll highlight the questions that I need answers for.

I don't know if you need to know all the other parts I've got, I'll post them if required. Just reply saying you need to know what parts I have.

My case is a 650D and the PSU is an AX850, mobo is an ASUS P8Z68-V PRO.
I already assembled the RAM, CPU and CPU cooler to the mobo, and attached the mobo to the case. I also put the PSU, the 2 HDDs, and the optical drive in their place.
Now all I need to put in place is the SSD, so my first question is where does the SSD go? same places the HDDs go?

After that comes the cable connecting part, and I've already connected 2 of them. (Them being the 24-pin cable and the 8-pin cable to the mobo, 24-pin close to the RAM beside it, and 8-pin above the CPU, to the left of it.)

Now, after this I'm completely lost. What other cables do I need to connect? Where do they go? The PSU manual doesn't go into any detail, it just says connect the cables basically.

connecting the HDDs and SSD, should I use a single 6-pin cable with 4 connections? Or use 1 cable per Drive?

No not the SATA connection, the power connection for the SSD and HDD. The corsair came with 4 cables, 2 with 2 connections and 2 with 4. I Guess I'll use 1 with 4 for the HDDs and SSD, and 1 with 2 for the Optical drives.

Have you read any build guides?

Yah, good guess. :p

If you have a vidcard w/ a PCI-E power connector, you'll need to connect that, too.

Connect the HDDs to the SATA300 (SATA2) ports, and the SSD to a SATA600 (SATA3) port.

Connect any fans to either mobo fan headers or to a molex connector from the PSU.
