Asrock Z170 OC Formula CPU Cooler clearance

I am going to use a Z170 OC Formula but the ram is tall so meanwhile I find a cpu cooler that can fit the tall ram i am thinking about buying a chepa cpu cooler as a placeholder I am looking at these models, and I wonder if they would fit ok the mothebroard

Why don't you get the CM Hyper 212 EVO instead? Better overall cooler and it will clear the ram.

They would both fit and are bottom tier coolers. What CPU are you cooling and why don't you just get a good cooler now if you want one? Also that Arctic cooler uses push pins (which are terrible).

Finding a CPU cooler isn't a difficult task

I have the same board. Went with a cryorig h7 and it cleared memory because it did not go over the ram slots. Also it is short and fits in smaller cases. My old case had a 145mm limit and it filled the spot. Got my 6700k to 4.6 and 4.8 after delid. Using water now and I can't be happier.
