I just recently updated my bios for the board listed above (and my ASRock in my sig). Cleared my CMOS after the update went through okay.

Now I manually (by hand, not by setting a profile) set all of my stable overclock settings back to the way they were before, and all of the sudden now my CPU will downclock to the stock clock under a full load. I've tried turning on / off speedstep, disabling all of my CSTATES. Turning off the temperature and overcurrent protection and still the same thing. The temps are way into the safe zone, but I can't figure out what is going on....

Bad BIOS?

Yes, it`s a buggy Bios. You should install L3.01 or the User Mod from here.

The Mod is based on L3.01 and has new Oc features.

Thanks for the link. ASrock just shipped me a 2.80 bios so I'm back to that while I wait for the official full versions to drop.
