I put together my build and everything worked OK. Installed Win 7. For some reason my SATA LG DVD ROM could not read anything besides the fact that i used it to install windows. I flipped around with drivers, cords with no resolve. Decided to update the BIOS. Updated the bios to the latest version available with instant flash successfully.
I restarted and I am getting stuck at POST screen now with no errors. Only freeze. The Dr Debug indicator on the mobo shows "0d" - Reserved for future codes etc.
since its freezing i am unable to flash the bios. I tried resetting CMOS. Tried moving around graphics card and using 1 stick of ram. THere are no other HW connected.
Anybody ever experienced this?

Do you have an SSD or multiple drives?

I have the same mobo in my new build i just put together and on a couple reviews i remember seeing that it has trouble on initial install/boot if you have an ssd with other sata drives plugged in or multiple drives together before you get everything set up for some reason

Which sata slots did you use on the board? Because their are 2 sata ports on the board that are pretty much just their and ASrock reccommends not to use them.

On the other hand...might want to unplug both your HDD and disk drive and see if you can get to post and have it say no hdd as well. If you can try using a different disk drive/hdd combo other then that idk what to tell you

I didnt hook them to M SATA plugs as those are the ones no recommended. I am returning the MOBO and CD ROM for a replacement. I am getting a diffferent brand for CD ROM. We will see

I fear this maybe the case of the Wisdom of the ancients but has anyone ever resolved a "0d" Dr. Debug code? I can't seem to find an answer anywhere and cannot access my bios. I've tried a myriad of clearing the CMOS repeatedly, starting up the system barebones and mystical raindances but nothing seems to work. I can't even use F6 to Instant flash an updated BIOS either...tis a sad day
