I got this the dual-vsta board when i was making my upgade from my northwood pentium 4 2.4 to a c2d 6400 december 2007, since i still had a 6800 gt and 1gb DDR and not alot of money i wanted something that could at least run AGP or DDR1 (DDR2 pricers were THROUGH THE ROOF).

Then Recently i upgraded my trusty board to my MSI Neo2-FR but i wanted to put some parts in the VSTA pc to give it to my little brother as his first gaming pc.

i bought 2gb of ADATA's ADQVE1A16K (saw on newegg that someone had installed the ram to the vsta and running them at 677 without issues) and a Pentium Dualcore E2200 @ 2.2. i did not use the HSF that came with the pentium i used my c2d's cooler (bigger and coper core)

the total upgrade was about $110 dollars and i was not going to overclock because i knew how much the asrock board sucked at overclocking.....

...but for when i took out my E6400 i did not reset my CMOS and the pentium dual booted up at 2926 (X6800 speed) because it eas running at 266 x 11. when i saw the windows temp was 32 at idle and 45 @ load i put it to 272 and was running at2983. just shy of 3000 by 17mhz i didnt go any higher because i had to go out and when i came back i was just too lazy :p

Keep in mind that the DUAL-VSTA has no CPU Voltage options
