ASIO for foobar

I want to use the asio output in foobar...where do I down/L it to? what foobar folder?
What is a 7Z file foobar doesn't recognize it. This is how the ASIO dll comes

Select the correct file from the archive you downloaded and put it in the fooba/components folder
(C:\Program Files\foobar2000\components)
(do not extract all of the files from the archives into your components folder)


Edit: oops .7z is a compressed archive like a zip file

I put them in that folder, it is the zip that must be the problem..never seen that one before.

You might find the 325i a little to bright but rolling the opamps can fix that.
 
I had to buy them, got a decent price..If I change opamps will that effect the sound on my senns?
If i don't like them you will see them on Head-fi
 
Yup.... just ask Saturine about that one.
I think he swapped the opamps in his PPA about 5 times now. :p
 
How about my Pimeta. I am not willing to give up the sound of the Senns.
 
Yup that would work... but there a catch there.
If you use OPA67s they would have to mounted on a browndog adapter for the right and left channels (the PPA wouldn't need them mounted on adapters)
 
Seems like I am going down a path I don't want. Know anybody who wants some 325i with about 4 hrs, on them. The DT 880's should work?

You can always eq your source and change the sound that way. ;)

Hate taken up your time, but the asio is not working..this is my error message

I have uninstalled Foobar twice and still a no go. I have checked every where for duplicates
 
Just keep the foo_output_asio(dll).dll in the components folder. Delete the other foo_output_asio whatevers.
 
What is the difference between the SSE, SSE2 and normal versions?

I got it working on my crappy AC 97 integrated rubbish - not sure it did much :rolleyes:

I have deleted every thing, I am going to reload the asio dll I will get back to you.. thanks for responding
 
Check youur bit and samplerate in the playback settings. Try using 32-bit

You are using wrong type of asio dll. Delete that u have currently in the foobars component directory and download and use the "foo_output_asio(dll).dll" version of the file.

Mentioned it before, but I guess he didn't do it right. :confused:
 
Go to task manager and end the ASIO exe plugin if its running. then use the normal dll version and if it just doesnt work then beat up your computer. Thats what id do
