If I hurry, I can get a pretty good deal on a used VapoChill PE stand alone unit. Only problem is...how long until Asetek releases a CPU kit for socket 939 processors? (ie 90nm Winchester). I've had a Lian Li PC-75 laying around, and I'm planning on modding it to house the stand alone unit...

I have yet to even so much as watercool, much less phase change...not to mention that I've never modded a case before, or held a dremel in my hand. With that said, I'm aware that I'm way in over my head here! But oh well...I'm determined. If I get a miracle and actually follow through with this project and it turns out to be successful, the end result will most likely turn out very similar to what this guy did:

Any comments are appreciated.

They already have that kit...

Check their website Its the socket kit for 754/940/939/(and a P4 I don't remember).

Also since U are looking at a PE U don't need to build or mod it into a Case it comes in a case. The Standalone unit is the LS...

Frallan, I'd already been to the Asetek site...that's what I was going by...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't see ANYTHING there that mentions socket 939...only 754.

Here's the LS (LightSpeed) that you speak of:

Here's what I plan to get:
