Artistic Nude

So my girlfriend does some modeling, but the only person she'll model this way for is me. We decided to take some test shots/edits and it came out pretty well. Neither shot is exactly a rule-breaker, so it's safe to post one here, the other can be found on my deviantART page. They're not derogatory or anything like that, and people have respected them as such on other forums, so I figured I'd share with you here.

Good angle, I love the focus effects, the contrast with the open closet door is nice, but maybe make the closet solid black or cut the frame? I dunno, I just found that bit a little distracting. Overall very nice.

Like Ripskin said, the closet pulls the eye away from her (mainly the white and blue) but the focus is really nice. The second shot is much nicer, but needs more of something.

First thing my eyes set on in are those huge piercings on her lips.

Other than that, good looking photos & well manipulated.

I would concur that the visible objects in the open portion of the closet are distracting. Very nice otherwise.

It almost looks like a soft focus lens was used. Dreamy kind've. And very nice skin tones, even more so for a P&S.

As others have noted the distractions, overall a nice picture and it's wonderful to have you share it with us.

A lot of post-processing, but looks nice overall. It's be a better shot without the metal distractions and the glasses.

Thanks for the comments. I suppose I should've added that she's an alternative model. Alternative model themes range from subtle piercings/accessories to, well, much more colorful/technical "gothic" looks/tattoos, etc. A few "distractions" that aren't pictured due to the toned-down nature of this alternative shoot are even more piercings and her tattoos. Also, the clothing theme in this one it toned down, too, compared to a "normal" alternative shot. There's also less accessories than normal. Example:

So, the "distractions" are actually very well in-class for this shot and aren't really considered so due to the nature of the style.
