I can't boot my pc, there's nothing on screen, not even in bios, nothing....everything is spinning up, fan, cpu heatsink, hard disk, graphics card but nothing on screen...i have to let my pc cool down for about 4+ hours and then i can boot to windows but for a very short time, about half and hour, then it'll happen again...before it'll happen, some artifacts will show up on screen then it'll hard lock..i have to push the shutdown button for a period of time to shutdown..the weird part is, when it happens, i have to let it sit for about 4+ hours to be able to boot up again..when it boot, i can use windows for about half and hour before it'll happen again....please help me here..i suspect the graphics card because of the artifacts on the screen but i have to be sure before i buy another card...and why i can't touch the pc for many hours to be able to boot up again? the artifacts sometimes show up in bios...or could this be a bad system ram?

If the artifacts show up in the bios I would suspect a motherboard issue. I would go to your local electronics store and buy a video card to test with. If the video card is not the culprit you could always return the card.
