Artifacts During Gameplay

Howdy y'all.

I've been experiencing artifacts while playing WoW.
I'm using a x1950 and I'm Underclocking it to 573 core, 846 memory. (Default is 621 core/900 mem)
I've thoroughly cleaned the dust from my system (the was a dust-bunny jamboree goin on), but my temps are still hitting 70c. (Artifacts start appearing at 68ish)

Am I running too hot? Is my card getting too old? (A little over a year old.)

Thankya kindly for any assistance you can provide! :)

I used to have a 1950 pro that would lockup the display and CCC had to reset the gpu. It would usually happen when it got about 80c I think. Anyway, I downloaded RT and manually adjusted the fan to 100% all the time. Fixed my problems, didn't add any extra fan noise that I could hear either.

Did you make sure to stick the compressed air nozzle inside the GPU cooler and blow the dust out of the fins? Those caged fan coolers can hide alot of dust under their covers.

I almost emptied a brand new can of air into it. Ever nook and cranny got cleaned.

Check to see if the gpu fan failed. If it has then there's yer problem. If the gpu fan still works then leave the case side open and stick a small room fan next to it. If it still artifacts after that it's probably the memory going bad on the card.
