I'm not sure what is going on, I don't believe it's a cooling issue. I have a 9800 PRO 256MB, and in game and on the desktop I occasionally see some artifacting? Any suggestions on what might be causing this?

are you oc'd?

We need pics man. :)

Driver issue most likely, have you recently updated your drivers or something?

You could also try the card in another computer to see if it happens then.

I've updated my driver to the latest Catalyst. Here is a screenshot, I don't think you'll need to look to terrible hard to find it.

Edit: also does anyone know a vga cooler that will fit a 256MB 9800 Pro? (If in fact it is cooling)

lol, im blind. i looked for for a minute, but i dont see the problem. :)

where is it?

hmm I don't see any artifacting either. Maybe you should point it out for us.

You sure he isn't trying to trick our brains? That banner is awfully distracting...

Look next to the words "Welcome to Hell", also in that sorta blueish banner up in the right corner. And then again in that Playboy Mansion ad. There look to be some on the Tony Hawk ad too. Those "artifacts" are everywhere! Actually, there are a whole bunch, you just need to look closer for the others.

You're talking about the "speckles" all over the place... i see them, looks like you may have a card whose memory is on its way out.

Try another set of catalyst drivers, if it still does it, try underclocking the memory/gpu... if that fixes it, its rma time.
