I just bought a new cooler for my old Sapphire 9800 Pro 128 MB and it says to put the thermal paste on the GPU. I was thinking that I could just use the Artic Silver instead since it is probably a much better quality. So is that possible?
 
oh ya.. artic silver works great on those.. watch out for the concave ones tho.. mine was.. and burnt out my graphics card randomly after using it for like 3 months... burnt out two cards actually >_< i recommend lapping
