I want to know how should i apply my artic silver 5. Put a drop on the cpu and then apply the HSF.(artic silver website method) or Put AS5 on and then spread it with a razor or Credit Card, then apply the HSF.([H] forum member post)

Also I don't have everything to start to use my cop. so far and i was wondering is it still alright to apply the AS5.

Actually as of today I used to use the "spread thin layer on entire cpu method" today I tried the small blop in the middle "Like on Arctic silvers webpage" and it dropped my idle temps 3 degrees right away. And it hasnt set in yet. So I may see a combined drop of possibly 5 degrees.
