artic cooling on x800 question

would putting this cooler on my x800gto2 take up a pci slot or is it small enough that it won't? and by taking up i mean hovering over the pci slot to make it unusable.
 
That would take up another slot, meaning 1 slot for the card, then the slot next too it for the cooler, which will exhaust air out the back of that slot using a vented slot cover.
 
i've got a x800gto fireblade edition and was wondering if the arctic cooling one would be a decent improvement over the stock unit? my stock one is already a dual slot cooler with the fan that expels air out the back of the case
