Arkham City FOV tweak doesn't work?

I've decided to revisit the game in anticipation of playing Arkham Knight. I'm playing the GOTY edition via Steam.

I've tried following the settings outlined here without success (also by using a different toggle key). Anyone have any ideas?

Apologies for making a new thread, didn't want to bring the original thread here for a small fix.

Have you tried setting the config file to read-only? The patch removing GFWL might have removed the functionality of this setting. Official widescreen support in UE3 has always been Vert-...
