ARK Survival evolved server hosting - suggestions

Hey, im looking to setup a server for ark survival evolved. A friend from facebook sent me this http://nazeboo.com/server-hosting/ark-survival-evolved-server-hosting/
I am almost convinced to go with gameservers seems very reputable (8 in the list) for $42.35 - 40 slots, from the other side vilayer seems good + ddos protection (whatever that is).
so i go with game servers or vilayer?


(anyone would like to join my server when is ready ? :D)
 
I want to try the game but then I read the reviews but most of the reviews complain about the PVP servers.
 
Ive got roughly 400 hours in the game and taking a break from it, even shutting down my Primitive ARK server.

Game just got old and I was a huge fan of it. Plus there was a lot of drama going on between some friends with the Tribe we had going. I say OP, don't waste your money hosting a server.
 
well i didn't took the server yet, and really thinking not to. Reason is that i found so many empty servers that really scared me. How to populate 40 slots pfff is depressing!
 
You'd have to run really high multipliers or other custom settings to attract people and problem is with PVP, say you do get some population and people get attacked, they will quit your server which is the frustrating part.
