Windows XP, what are it's RAM limitations, and what RAM/GPU combo should I go with in order to get the most out of the RAM that XP can use? Like, I know that XP can only support 4gb, but do they mean 4gb of memory RAM or does the RAM on the GPU go towards the count?

I was planning on getting this GPU and motherboard, and I'm an XP Pro guy for life. So I'm trying to find the best memory to go with it, please send me a Newegg link to the best RAM to go with this setup. Performance with Windows XP is what I'm aiming for, fast timings and stuff. I've been out of the loop for a while, so I'm not sure if DDR2 or DDR3 is better, or whether or not I want 1066 or 1333 or 1600.
