ARGH! whats wrong?!?

hey all,

for some reason my x850xt pe is not going to allow me to overlcock the core to more than 570 now i used to push it easily past 600 and it was stable for ages...now it plays for about 20 mins @ 570/600 and then it freezes

the 2 conclusions ive come to are:

Heat

Chip is dieing

which one do you think it is? plz help me

Did you change drivers recently? I noticed the Cat 5.8's allowed me to overclock MUCH higher than any other driver set.

I had to lower my overclocks when my PSU was starting to fail. So thats a possibility.

The gains from OC that card for every day use is very minimal, i used to own a X800XT-PE and when it was OCed when i gamed i so no visible difference in anything i ever ran. Sounds like your card is gonna go BOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep most of the games you are playing with your setup are allready kicking ass, Now when you start increasing the AA and ANIS filtering at high levels depending on the game its gonna kick your whole systems ass.
