I need a decent power supply, since im getting a new case and my new video card has arrived, looks like a 300watt power supply won't do the trick..I need the cheapest but best (quality wise) power supply I can get, I was thinking a 700 watt would be enough.

What are you trying to power with it?

quality >>>>>>>> Quantity.

it says 700 watts in my post, as for the quality part, I just need it to not brake out of the box.

What card are you trying to power? I can't think of ONE card, even TWO, that would take 700w. It's easier this way.

That, and not all power supplies are made equal. A cheapo generic power supply might work now, but when it goes, you can be assured it will take something with it. It can go at any time. A quality power supply usually won't blow up if it's built well, and even if it does, you have a legit company to RMA to, and it usually won't destroy your rig.

well the card needs a min of 450 watts, but I need some more just in case I plan to add anything in the future.

I'm guessing it's an nvidia 8 series card?

the 450w rating is for the entire pc. And for quality.

Try a corsair HX 520, if you don't intend on getting 2 8800GTX's, or 2 R600's.
