Areca 1880ix CPU Heatsink Replacement

Due to some changes in the configuration of my server, the Areca 1880ix wasn't getting the same airflow as it was previously, and the CPU was hitting ~80C. Replacing the stock heatsink with an Enzotech, has dropped temps by over 30C.

Use a heat gun to heat up the CPU heatsink then gently twist and it will pop off.

Clean the CPU with 99% isopropyl alcohol

Add thermal compound, and install the SLF-1. I used a 2-pin adapter from a noctua fan to connect to the fan header included on the raid card.
