Are they really that bad?

i think that the GF4 MX's are basically upgraded GF2 or 3's.. not even 4's at all.. rather misleading. they only support DX7.1 or something like that

Bad? No. Aged? Yes.

The GF4 MX doesn't support Pixel Shaders or programable Vertex Shaders (at least the ones that DX uses for VS). Any game that REQUIRES either or both of those won't work on a GF4 MX (or GF2, Radeon 7x00, etc cards).

*Supported Video Cards at Time of Release*

ATI Radeon 8500/9000/X series
NVIDIA GeForce 4/FX/6 series (GeForce 4 MX not supported)

These chipsets are the only ones that will run this game. Laptop models of these cards not supported.

The GF4 MX is mentioned by name as excluded because only the GF4 Ti out of the "GeForce™ 4" cards are supported. Strange that the GF3 was excluded. If the 9000 is fast enough to play, GF3 cards should also be.
