Well, about 3 months ago I ordered a DFI LanParty250GB board with a Athlon64 3000+ combo.... I ordered the one without the fan, so I selected the Thermaltake SilentBoost and had them put it on, since all this was the cheapest route. Well, with 2 exhaust fans in the back and 2 fans blowing into the case in the front I was at 29C idle, 40C load...Since them, Im now overclocked at the speed below, 2.4GHz, at 1.64v, and Im idling at 33C loading at 45C...this is all according to Smartguardian and Speedfan... my BIOS says I idle at 36C, but Ive read when at BIOS im not completely idle... So, two questions, am I really running this cool, and why? Also, would it be safe to go ahead and pump it up to 1.67 or so and see 2.5GHz? Thanks
 
temps look fine. Your starting to push it with more than 1.65v on air in my opinion with the A64...at least this is how i feel with the Winnie cores i've played with.
