I'm running two ddc-12v's in a series pushing through 1/2" to my 8800gtx, then to my e6600 and into a 240 rad..I'm seeing 42-46c on my cpu at idle and my gpu is at 50c...Is this normal? They seem too high to me..

-- I believe my 680i is pushing the gpu a bit higher than normal speed..but everything else is at stock.

you definately dont need two pumps for two blocks, but thats about right for temps. EDIT: just read processor is at stock, those are not good temps, they are acceptable if its a hot day. is that a single 240mm rad? that would be the reason, that 8800 takes one single rad by itself.

actually when I go to my bios and watch the system monitor the cpu is running at 38c. I'm running two in a series to hopefully increase flow and my long term goal is to run dual 8800's..Oh, and I have a nb block, but haven't put it on..still need one for the sb.

We can't really tell how good your system is unless you provide us with your ambients.

If you're living in Maine, then yeah, your system is definitely sub par. But if you're in India right now, you got a killer rig going.

With that point made, the only thing I can say right now is that 8800's will wreck your CPU temps.

Looks like ambient temperature disorder to me...

Almost all 8800GTX blocks let your GPU idle at ~43c with a room temperature of 21c or so... Provided the radiator can handle it.

Right now its like 68 degrees in my room..My pump set up is 2 ddc 12v's with the acrylic block that puts them together in a series..it allows for 2 out barbs and 1 in, currently i only have 1 hose going out..but i'm thinking of maybe switching to 2 out and having one straight to the cpu and 1 to the video card and have them both hit a y before they go back into the radiator..Sound like a good idea?

In Speedfan its showing my CPU at 78C in orthos after about 50 seconds

Edit:..thats when i stress only the cpu. When i do the ram/cpu blend it is stayin right at 62-64 after 2 minutes. Is this normal or am I doing something HORRIBLY wrong??..

Well, considering orthos small FFT's don't make me go over 45c I'd say it's horribly wrong.

Re-mount the waterblock.
