Are these for overclocking? /confused

I think i installed an Oc'ing driver for my 3dfx voodoo 3000 card, here are the options it gives me:

Selection:
Desktop
Direct3D
Glide / Open GL
Video Overlay


It is currently on desktop, when i put it on Direct3D it gives me two open fields, Alpha Blending and Video Dispplay.

Alpha blending can be: sharper or smoother(right now its on automatic)
Video Display can be normal or high(right now its on automatic)

When i click on Glide / Open GL i get the choices of the last one, as well as check boxes for:
Disable the splash screen
Force mipmap dithering
Limit texture memory to 2mb
Force triple buffering


When i have video overlay on i get no extra options.. I want the best performance out of my 16 mb card! so what should i do

forgot to mention- the driver is for windows 98 but im on ME

no, none of those are for overclocking, just for settings.. overclocking involves rasing the core and memory speeds on the card, and for a voodoo, i have no idea what you would use...

if you dont have anything else, why not just plop down 30 bucks for a geforce 4 mx or something? even a that, a geforce2 class card, would rape your v3...

oh, and why the hell are you using ME over 98se?

can't buy anything, absoloutely no money at all..... is there a type of program i could use to lightly oc the card? cuz the comp im on is pretty bad and has barely sufficient cooling.....

for voodoo cards, i have no idea.. i was about 11 when voodoos were the hot item

if system cooling sucks, i do not suggest overclocking anything.

I know there is a program to overclock voodoo cards and i used one before. I think it is Powerslide for a generic overclocking tool or check in http://www.planetquake3.net/tweak/voodoo_tools.html for some of the custom tools for your card.
