are these computer speakers any good?

so pretty much i can only buy from sears and have a budget of 50-75 and found these.

Can't be any worse than my seutp...I got coaxial 6x9's in boxes, powered by a 300w car amp driven by a PSU on a switch lol.

2 completely different products you have listed there. One is a set of powered speakers, the second is a set of bookshelf speakers.
You know you would have to supply different signals right?
The bookshelf speakers would need an amplified signal in order to produce sound.

The Sony's are supposedly very good and the people at AVS rave about them quite a bit. They are not powered and will require a receiver or amp or whatever.

think you really only have one option there(Genius ones) with you having to also buy a amp with the Sony's

I'd go with the Sony's, They have a front firing port so the bass would be better, and they have 5 1/4 woofers, the other speakers woofers look puny.
