I have 2 sticks of Kingston HyperX 3500 which I purchased in about March of 2003. On the chips it reads...

V55463
0304 P01
D328DW-50

On a sticker on the outside of the heat spreader it reads - A00 for the revision.

Right now, I am running 2-2-2-5 at 204MHZ at 2.8v.

Are these chips the BH-5 chips that folks speak of and if they are, what kind of timings should I expect? Thanks in advance.

Yes Massa

You have BH-5

Give it more voltage...you should expect 220 - 230 at least with 2-2-2-5 timings.

Actually, a00 means CH5, a01 means bh5 IIRC.

I think you have CH5.

Nope not true.
They don't use AXX to specify what chips it got.

A00, A01 & A02 ..ALL carry some BH-5.

My hyperx 3500 had a00, and I took the heatspreaders off, and it was definitely ch5.

Maybe so...but they DO NOT use AXX to specify what chips the module has.
