are there new WU's floating around?

just earlier in the week i got about 2500 points one day. yesterday i got 4400. today i will be getting 6k+. is this thanks to new WU's, cuz i dont think im doing much different.

what i mean is, how long can i expect consistent ppd? just curious

You really can't. Even within the 5902s and 5903s, PPD can vary quite a bit. I've got 2 running on a pair of 280GTXs.

1) P5903 (R10,C357,G0) - 6200 PPD
2) P5903 (R3,C175,G1) - 4600 PPD

The 8 that are currently running on OctoBox are from 4000 to 5000 PPD depending.

Yeah, there's some crazy variability in PPD with these. The 4 9800GX2's all seem relatively stable (within 1000 ppd), but the 2 280 GTX's are all over the place.

# 2 has dropped down to 4100 PPD on that WU...

One thing I have noticed with these 59xx series WU's is that my GPUs are running cooler.
About 5-8 degrees C cooler.

Yes the new WU's are kinda nice though i kind of wish i was getting more of the 420 pt ones vs the 1680's because with the big ones it really screws my daily production up I do like how much cooler these things run on my gpu's!

Good to hear I wasn't the only one seeing that. My GTX260 216 went from constant 60c to 49c. I thought for sure something was wrong.
