My current temps are at 45-47C idle and 51-53C full load. Are these temps ok with my setup? It primes fine for over 24 hours with no crashes during games or anything. Any suggestions on how to lower temps would be appreciated. Setup is in the sig.
Thanks.

Please read the stickies before posting.

Get a better heatsink or a bigger fan, or both.

It's stable, it's well within the maximum operating temperature - don't obsess over it.

Dunno what stepping you've got, but my 2500+ does 2.2GHz on 1.65V...maybe you oughta experiment with reducing the vcore until you find the lowest stable voltage - that'll definitely reduce the temp. Incidentally, mine idles at 36 and load at 41-44.

AMD
Depending on your CPU, max temp is 80-90C (I'm not on broadband, but the specs are on AMD's site, i'll look them up when i'm on a fast connection)

If you're below 55C under load, you're doing just fine. Nothing will be hurt! You can always drop your temps, but of course this is usually at the expense of your hearing.

From the sticky.
