Are ATX Side Panels Standardized?

Are ATX case side panels standardized or is there a more common dimension? I have two ATX cases and they might be the same size. Anyway, the reason that I am asking is because I want to swap my current case's side panels for side panels that are better ventilated. I want a side panel with a lot of vents or mesh for better air circulation so that I can replace my current CPU fan with something much quieter. Is there a place that sells side panels? I realize that the screw holes might be different, but I can drill new screw holes if needed. I know that I could just buy a new case, but I am happy with my case and current setup. I just want better-ventilated side panels. I though about just removing one side panel, but I want to protect the inside of my PC (I have a curious cat).
 
Easy to find for like Lian Li cases for example, but if it's a generic case good luck man. There's no standard that I've ever seen.
Time for a ghetto mod? :D
 
Short answer:
No, there's no standard for side panels. At all.

But you could always just mod it and put some mesh in it yourself.
 
Some cases use standardised chassis, but there are so many different types that it's effectively insignificant. For the most part, side panels are different between different cases.
