k poeple, I'm a noob at arctic silver, and am using a m2500, a thermaltake pipe101, and a tornado on it, and mbm still reads like 59-65 c. I'm using regular paster right now, and am wondering is arctic silver will help out a lot more than my paste. oh yeah, I'm also getting better case fans and more tornados too
 
When i switched from that crappy pad thing u get to as5 I got a 10C drop!
 
artic silver takes a while to cure...or settle in so don't expect an immediate drop in temps. Also some mobo's have temp sensors that are way off..
 
true, so yeah guess I'll get the as, and those fans too, cause I was runing at 2.4ghz, but got scared cause I'm now at stock and that's what it reads
 
i was using arctic alumina previously.. just recently (2 days ago) i've got my AS5 after my alumina's suply depleted...

currently i'm seeing 1C drop everyday
 
yeah I'm gonna pick some up now, or whenever I go to the one place wherever it is and get some
