Am I wrong in thinking this is a step backward for them, after making such great coolers for the previous generations? I know they made this on the assumption of BTX, but come on, how many of us ARE using a case with the tech-spec BTX cooling method?
Instead of kicking the hot air out of the case, this new cooler (the only one "approved" for x1800-x1900 series use) looks like it kicks it back in; granted, standard rear exhaust fans would minimize the effect, but seeing as how Arctic Cooling's past solutions were designed to prevent this, it seems to be a bit of devolution and I'm quite disappointed.
That being said, is anyone using one of these new coolers (assuming they're in the market stream)?
