Arctic Alumina

My system is idling at 62C and I am thinking that maybe it is not seated properly so I was going to reapply some thermal sauce down there, all I have though is Arctic Alumina. Is this stuff any good? System is XP300 on NF7-S cooled by a SLK-900a.
 
i've never had a problem with the stuff, it will usually perform almost as well is artic silver, usally within a couple degrees.
 
Yeah, Arctic Alumina is good. I prefer it over AS, due to it being non conductive, and great performing. Try reseating with a paper thin layer of the paste. If your temps stay the same, your temp probe may be wrong. My Abit reports temps 10C over what they really are. If the heatsink is hot to the touch, consider using a high cfm fan.

AS thermal cpd is NON-conductive also. the AS thermal epoxy is conductive however.
