I don't have a lot of room in my shop, and we do band practice in it too. On top of that, I had been using my deck with reaper to record ideas, and I wanted something more packaged. So, I built this. When we aren't jamming, we can throw down with street fighter, and when it's just me, I can use it for music or play something like Stardew.

I had a x arcade dual controller laying around. Had problems with it until I found they upgraded their board, and it solved the issues I was having. After that, I was like, I want to build a gaming setup for my deck. For retro gaming, the deck is great.

I had a custom twin stick/SF2 style control box made from some online place with a trackball mount in the center, never got the chance populate it with anything.

Ah. I will say, after putting it on something dedicated, it's a lot more enjoyable. Arcade sticks are not small, and to use them isn't like grabbing a controller. With it always ready to go changes how I feel about it.
