Aquero 5 Sensor Question.

Been searching forums and Google and I cannot seem to find a definitive answer to my question. Is it possible/compatible to use aftermarket water temp sensors on the Aquero 5 pro display?. I was thinking of using a Phobya inline temp sensor coupler. It is the same two pin connection.
 
I'm using a Bitspower temp sensor and it works fine, phobya inline sensor should be no problem either. The Aquaero has also a calibration possibility to adjust the temperatures reported by the temp sensors.
 
Yes, you can use other manufactures sensors that have the two pin connector.
