Aquastream Problem

I must be doing something wrong. I cannot get the pump to pull water into the system. I have checked and rechecked all connections but something is wrong. Any suggestions?

Does the pump already have water? The pump can't suck the water itself.

The pump is not a suction type pump like you would use as a bilge pump in your boat. It must be primed first like a well hand pump.

can you post a pic so that we can see how your routing your tubes? are you using the aquabay or top mounting the aquatube, assuming that your using an aquatube...

I thinlk the problem lies in the deaeration. The pump manual shows a jumper which needs to be removed in order to deaerat the system, but the picture in the manual shows 1 jumper and my board has 2. The other manual states that you do not need to remove the jumper if you have an Aquaero, but I cannot find anything which refers to process.

In this picture the deaeration-mode is activated. To deactivate it you will have to remove the jumper or plug it one pin to the side.

Even with this mode the water should flow through your entire system so I don't think that this is your real problem.
You could plug out one connector in your system and intake some water with your mouth to make sure that the pump is filled with water.

This the pump setup, less two leds. The pressure side feeds the cpu, out to NB, out to EVO 160, out to GPU, out to GPU, out to EVO 240, out to aquajet. GPU's have not been installed as of yet, because I don't have them but you get the idea. The pump is vibrating so I know it is working. With or without the jumper, no flow, the Aquaero reads no pump although it does recognize the pump...
I build power plants for a living you would think I could figure this out.

so you were testing it then? If so did you tilt the aquabay to make the aquatube vertical while priming he pump? I was just thinking that the pumps just not being primed properly...

Yes, it was and still is vertical and I am about to go postal!

I had to unplug the last block on the loop to open the connection and my aquastream would start to work. Just make sure you either quickly turn it off or connect the plug once it begins. Just remember to unplug the hose on the output of the last block and you should be set! This is normal, at least with Eheim pumps.

Example: my loop was as follows:

pump output -> radiator -> CPU block -> GPU block -> Northbridge block -> AquaDrive Micro -> AquaTube -> pump input

I unplugged the output from the Aquadrive micro from the input of the Aquatube and the pump started working. Once it got "primed", it worked like a champ

Thanks, I will try it.

You have to have water in the pump before IE pull the tubing off just alittle from the aquastream or water blocks dont gush the sh!t all over and make sure you can run the pump without powering the motherboard ( as soon as the water is moving put the tube back in place) . Give it a minute or so then you can see the water start to move faster then the pump will quiet down. You got a big case and alot of bends the one i had in my v2000 did the same thing.
Get water in there first, eheim's are not self priming like hydors etc. let me know also do both status lights stay on all the time? if so that is a resistor problem and AC knows about this but i dont think its whats happening now.

EDIT: if you can lose the 90 that is not connected to the aquatube the one right up against the aquabay. AC tubing is crap and you if you can find mazzerpur tubing it will work like tygon and is alot clearer then AC tubing

So did you get it working okay? :)

I attached some tubing to the Aquajet and siphoned it through, I love the Germans but their instructions could use a little tweeking.

Errrr the aquajet is supposed to be on the return side of your loop. It sounds like you are trying to have the pump suck water through the aquajet? That is wrong.
