I finally got around to running Aquamark and uploading the results to the arc. I´m wondering if it gives a good view of what my performance gains will be once I up my system. Currently I have an athlon xp 2000 with a 6600gt, got a 35,000 or so at 35 fps, more or less what most other similar setups are getting.

However, next week I plan on building this up to an A64 3400 system and keeping the vid card. Browsing through the results I noticed systems with that CPU and that vid card were getting appx. 60,000 points and 60fps! Is this pretty much telling me that my cpu is holding back 50% of my gpu´s processing power? Can i be expecting a near 100% jump in fps when I setup my new rig? Thanks guys!

I don't think you will be getting that high of a score. My friend has a s754 amd64 3200+ with a 9800pro that performs a little bit worse then the 6600gt and he only gets about 48,000. I think you would be very lucky to get 60,000 with those specs.
