AquaComputer Horror Story

Gee you registered here just to post about somebody not getting something they've ordered yet?

Here's MY Aquacomputer "not-so-horror" story from this month:

I'm on the West Coast of the USA and ordered some GPU blocks from Aquacomputer in Germany on Monday (7/2). Immediately I got an order confirmation. A few hours later I got a shipping confirmation with a tracking number. To my surprise Friday (7/6) evening when I returned home I had a package from them with my new GPU blocks. Total time from order to reception was 5 days, and that includes the July 4th holiday where everything was shut down.

Now Watercool.de on the other hand... I ordered some GPU blocks from them listed as "in stock" on Monday (7/9), got a confirmation of order email, and didn't hear anything from them for a week. I emailed them on this past Monday (7/16) for an order status. I emailed them again today (Wednesday 7/18) asking for an order status because I didn't receive a reply. Finally, later today I received an email saying the item I ordered wasn't really in stock even though their site said so. They think it will ship out tomorrow (7/19), and after that will take 7 days to reach me.

Yeah, I think I'll stick to ordering from Aquacomputer next time (not to mention their shipping is costs less too)...

How is that a Aqua Computer horror story? If anything it's a DHL horror story.
 
DHL issue or it is sitting in customs. Shit happens that is not Aqua Computers fault.

I get stuff sent from Germany several times a year and it is totally hit and miss, may come in a week may take 3 month. Most of the times it is sitting is the fucked up US Customs system.
 
This thread is a horror story!

Stop trying to create a stir about Aquacomputer, they are reputable!
 
I have a better Horror Story and this one is about OCN, a known member there.(He was one of those Artisian dudes or w/e). Ripped someone off of a case into which countless hours of planning and work had gone into. Guess what, that person still never received his case.

So based on that, we should never deal with OCN again because one guy ripped people off meaning the entire forum is bad. :rolleyes:
 
I'm going to go with Don't ever ship anything DHL..Never had anything lost from newegg till I had somthing Shipped DHL said to got to my house but never did.. No matter how much cheaper it is never ship anything DHL..

WHY would anyone suggest these are solutions? I couldn't read past the first page

Why are you punishing AquaComputer? Clearly it is NOT their fault, it IS out of their hands, they shipped it promptly.

That is true, but it's hard to find another country (at least in a first world country sense) with groups of people that would blame socialist policies for basically anything that goes wrong :)
