I have been runing high flow systems for a long time in my computers.

However I am building a system that needs to be fairly quiet and have a nice look to it, performance is not as big a concern as the overall look and feel of the system.

If someone could outline a system from Aqua that can cool CPU, GPU, and possibly the NB on say 3 levels.

Level 1 CPU only (cheapest)

Level 2 CPU and GPU (mid range price)

Level 3 CPU, GPU, and NB (silence with best stuff avalible, cost is variable)

I know there are some large external systems for Aqua but is there anything that can be run internal and still give all of that data (temps of air and water, plus flow)?

And just to keep flames to a minimum I am fully aware of how the high flow systems work, but I am trying to build a show box for someone else.

probably the Intel 775

If its possible to get a universal that would be great.

OK.. last question. How large of a radiator can you fit in the case?

Everything doesn't have to be from AC. If what your going for is silence for instance, you could take the Aquastream pump, whichever waterblock you want, and a Thermochill PA series radiator. The waterblock can be chosen on whatever criteria you want, looks, performance, price. Most blocks can be adapted to whichever tubing size you feel appropriate.

For pure silence however I would definitely take the aquastream pump, and the PA series radiator. No radiator that AC offers performs as well as the PA series with low cfm fans (they are designed to be used with quiet fans).

Level 1:

Aquastream pump or DDC and Poweradjust.

Cuplex Evo or Cuplex Pro

Aquatube reservoir or T line

6mm or 8mm id tubing and associated fittings.

Hardware Labs rad of choice (DD imports to USA, Asetek imports to Europe) sold by many water cooling companies. Suggest you go for the thinner ones that don't need a lot of fan speed to work properly.

Level 2:

Aquastream pump or DDC and Poweradjust.

Aquatube reservoir

Cuplex XT (Optional copper or clear top available) or Cuplex Pro for CPU

TwinPlex Pro for GPU

Level 3:

Aquastream pump or DDC with Aqua Computer or Alphacool clear top and Poweradjust.

Cuplex XT or Double Impact (new and designed for dual or quad cores) for CPU. (Optional copper or clear top available)

Cuplex Pro for GPU

TwinPlex XT or standard TwinPlex for NB

Aquaero VFD

Tubemeter

Notes:

  • Depending on where you put your Aquatube you may want an Aquajet. Typically it is used most often when the Aquatube is mounted vertically to clear the condensation off the sight glass.
  • The Aquaero is available in several different configurations. There are LCD's of red and blue, OLED's in green, and a VFD version that can be easily configured in a wide variety of different display colors with the use of filters. In addition there is a LT version that has no display at all.
  • An Aquabay is best used if fitting up the Aquatube in a horizontal mount. The Aquabay also allows for an Aquastream mount as well.
  • A grill of some type will be required if you intend to mount the rad to the top of the case.
  • Many of these coolers are available in silver as well. Cools a bit better and it sure looks nice!
  • The PA series rads would also be a good choice, but IMHO they are but ugly and difficult to mount properly according to many on this forum.
