I jsut got in my aqua-computer fan grill in and i was told that the bottom is always unfinished? are yalls unfinished or are they polished on the bottom?

you mean the underside of if? Why would they take the trouble to finish the side of something nobody is going to see besides you and the fan?

Because it would look nice when you first saw it instead of leaving this impression that everything aqua computer makes is half way done and for twice the price?

dude...its a $.10 fan grill...life goes on :p Seirously...is it worth bitching about?

It actually cost me 28.57 with shipping and all! but none the less i would perfer a fully polished fan grill cause it brings a sence of completion and not a half ass job......

If it were designed to be polished on both sides, then yes....it would be a half-a** job. However, it wasn't designed to be polished on both sides, just because it can be....doesn't mean it was designed to be. The top side of my car's hood was polished when I bought it, but the underside wasn't....is that half-a**ed?

Im just saying that it would be nice if both sides were polished......i for one would feel better if both sides were polished...i might just go down the the garage and polish it myself............ :p

Once its installed you wont see the backside of the grill, so dont waste your time polishing it. I have the 240 gril and once its one with the fans on the backside of it. YOu can't really see the back of the grill.

I know i wont be able to see it but im just saying it would of given me a better feeling about this product if it was fully polished and just looked nice and shinny on both sides. And about the car hood being polished......i wouldnt bother me if the inside of the hood was polished :p

What do you plan to do with the product?

It's a fan grill. It shields fan blades from tender fingertips.

It sounds like it also has a design, for aesthetic purposes. It also sounds like one side has been polished, again for aesthetic purposes.

You as a consumer are only going to be viewing the grill from ONE side.

So....WHY would a company spend EXTRA time to polish the side that you won't bother looking at? Time is money.

30$ for a fan grille?!

It is a grill for watercooling radiators, made by a company in germany that makes very fine but very high priced water cooling equipment.

And there is no reason for it to be polished on both sides, do you care what color the plastic gears inside of your cd-rom drive are? Do you really care if some company spent extra effort to make the gears inside the cd-rom uv reactive? Nobody would ever see it if they did, so what is the difference?

And for the record, Aqua-Computer is not highly priced, its the Euro conversion to the US Dollar. Also, Im sorry you were dissapointed in the product.
