I'm about to install an Athlon64 3200+ to a Zalman HSF and I was wondering what is the best / most efficient way to apply thermal paste to the setup. Also, with the Athlon64 there isnt a visible core like on the Athlon XPs so do I just put thermal paste on the whole top?

you can also use a condom...however some mental stability issues may come into play if you're applying thermal paste to your processor with your schlong :p

depends on what thermal paste it is I guess. AS recommends a small dot in the middle of the cpu and let the hsf spread it out.
